The National Association of Public Hospitals (NAPH) has selected the District’s Vita Health outreach campaign for an “honorable mention” in this year’s Safety Net awards. The District nominated the Vita Health promotional campaign, which started in July 2007, for the award category of “Community Engagement” in the annual NAPH nationwide recognition program. In the application form the District illustrated the different methods of promotion and outreach the Managed Care team has used in the outreach campaign so far this year and provided data showing the impact of the campaign on membership growth. Since the campaign started, Vita Health membership has more than doubled. The announcement of the District’s Honorable Mention will be made on June 26 at the Safety Net Awards Ceremony which will take place at the NAPH Annual Conference in Santa Fe. |
